آمون ستار ولمياء كامل تتحدثان عن السياحة والعلاقات الحضارية بين مصر وأميركا عبر "I heart"

في مقابلة إذاعية مميزة في البرنامج الإذاعي الأميركي الشهير "صوت نيويورك" على محطة iHeart، تمّت استضافت لمياء كامل، مؤسسة القمة السردية ومساعدة وزير السياحة والآثار السابقة للترويج، والنجمة الأميركية آمون ستار في حوار تناول السياحة في مصر والسياح القادمين من الولايات المتحدة إليها، إذ شهدت مصر نموًا هائلاً كوجهة سياحية بعد وباء كورونا.

وفيما يتعلق بالأسباب التي جعلت مصر من أكثر الوجهات السياحية شهرة في الآونة الأخيرة وخاصة من أميركا، أوضحت لمياء كامل: "من الطبيعي أن نرى هذا التكامل الثقافي الضخم بين بلدين عظيمين. أرى احترام الولايات المتحدة لمصر وتاريخها القديم، فضلاً عن الصورة التقدمية والمعاصرة لمصر الحديثة التي تعمل على تقديمها للعالم كوجهة شابة وحديثة ترحب بالناس من جميع أنحاء العالم. تقدر أميركا الإبداع والتنوع وتقودهما، ونحن نشعر بتناسب ثقافي كبير بين البلدين".

وأضافت كامل: "لقد رحبنا بالعديد من الأحداث من الولايات المتحدة على غرار Maroon 5 وBlack Eye Peas وغيرها، ونحن متحمسون جدًا لرؤية المزيد.

وتابعت: "كان عملي في وزارة السياحة كمساعدة لوزير السياحة للترويج في 2021-2022 من أهم المعالم في مسيرتي المهنية. لقد مكنني من معرفة ما هي دولة مصر الرائعة وكيف يمكننا التواصل مع أصدقائنا على مستوى العالم للترويج لها بشكل أكبر".

من جهتها أوضحت آمون ستار خلال المقابلة الإذاعية سبب حبها وارتباطها القوي بمصر والحضارة المصرية القديمة: "أشعر أن مصر القديمة تمثل جذور الإنسانية، فأميركا دولة حديثة. ربط الناس بجذورهم وأصل الحضارات هو هاجس كبير بالنسبة لي".

وأضافت آمون: "إنه لشرف عظيم لي أن أشارك في هذا المشروع مع مجلة لمياء وفلير، وهي فرصة عظيمة لتسليط الضوء على كل ما أفعله وإظهاره للعالم ولمصر، لأنني قضيت سنوات عديدة أحاول أن أظهر للعالم حقيقة وروعة مصر وحضارتها وتاريخها. مصر بلد رائع حقًا بشعبه المضياف وحضارته العظيمة . غنائي في مصر أشبه بحلم تحقق، وموقع الحفل رائع بين الآثار المصرية وهذا التاريخ الذي أحببته منذ فترة طويلة".

وعن مشروع التعامل مع آمون من خلال مجلة Flair ، أوضحت كامل: "بدأت الفكرة مع المجلة التي تم اختيارها مؤخرًا في قائمة أفضل 50 وسيلة إعلامية فاخرة في العالم لعام 2023 من جوائز Luxury Lifestyle، أنا شهدت حب آمون الشديد لمصر وحضارتها وتاريخها وشعبها، وعملنا معًا للتحضير لحدث فني ضخم في القاهرة، حيث تغني آمون وسط الآثار والتاريخ والحضارة،  كون آمون ستار مغنية وفنانة ومؤثرة أمريكية تستخدم صوتها وأزياءها للتعبير عن إعجابها بالحضارة المصرية القديمة من خلال أغانيها وفيديوهاتها المتنوعة، فهي مناسبة تمامًا للاندماج الثقافي بين البلدين".

وأردفت كامل بقولها: "بعد 17 عامًا في مجال العلاقات العامة، ولا سيما عام 2016 الذي كان تحولًا جوهريًا بالنسبة لي وحجر الزاوية في إطلاق القمة السردية، لتكون بمثابة المؤتمر الدولي الأول لـ (العلامة التجارية الوطنية) في مصر، وقد أطلقنا 7 إصدارات من القمة، بما في ذلك مؤتمران رقميان خلال Covid وفي مؤتمر تغير المناخ 2022 COP27على مدار 7 سنوات. وتشرفنا بحضور ومشاركة مجموعة من الوزراء وكبار المسؤولين الحكوميين والضيوف الأجانب الذين قدموا مصر ليس فقط كوجهة تاريخية وحضارية، ولكن أيضًا كموقع ثقافي وحضاري، وتستعد قمة السرد لهذا العام 2023 للعودة مرة أخرى إلى الأرض في البحر الأحمر لإلقاء الضوء على التنمية السياحية في مصر.

وفيما يتعلق بالتحديات التي تواجه المرأة العاملة في الشرق الأوسط، أشارت لمياء كامل إلى أن "هناك تحديات بالطبع، لكن هناك حركة كبيرة في مصر لإشراك ودعم المزيد من النساء، حيث تعمل القيادة السياسية على تشجيع ودعم النساء بشكل كامل والحصول على حقوقهن كاملة في جميع المجالات. لذلك نرى الآن الكثير من الوزيرات وتمثيل المرأة في البرلمان وأيضًا في المجالات الإبداعية والإعلام والسينما وأيضًا في عالم الأعمال. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، تشغل العديد من النساء مناصب في الأسواق المصرفية والمالية".

وأعربت كامل عن سعادتها بهذا الحوار واستضافته عبر أحد أشهر البرامج الإذاعية في أميركا، ولقائها بالمغنية آمون ستار من خلال هذا البرنامج الذي يأتي في إطار التعاون المرتقب بين آمون ستار ومجلة "فلير" لإقامة عرض فني ضخم. الحدث في مصر شهر حزيرن (يونيو) المقبل.

In a distinguished radio interview on the famous American radio program, Voice of New York- iHeart radio, Lamia Kamel, founder of the Narrative Summit and Former Assistant Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for promotion, was hosted. The interview tackles tourism in Egypt and tourists coming from the US. Egypt has witnessed tremendous growth as a tourist destination post the pandemic and in 2022-2033, an increase in reservations, especially from the U.S. 

Regarding the reasons that made Egypt one of the most popular tourist destinations in recent times, especially from America; Lamia Kamel explained: “It is natural to see this huge cultural integration between two great countries. I see the respect that the United States has for Egypt and its ancient history, as well as the progressive, contemporary image of modern Egypt that it is working to present to the world as a young, modern destination that welcomes people from all over the world. America appreciates and leads in creativity and diversity and we feel that together as countries there’s a great cultural fit”.

We have welcomed so many events from the US, Maroon 5, Black Eye Peas and more and so excited to see more.

Kamel stated: “My work in the Ministry of Tourism as an assistant to the Minister of Tourism for promotion in 2021 -2022 was one of the most important milestones in my professional career. It enabled me to see what a great country Egypt is and how we could engage with our friends globally to promote it more”

For her part, "Amun Starr" explained during the radio interview the reason for her love and strong connection to Egypt and the ancient Egyptian civilization: "I feel that ancient Egypt represents the roots of humanity, as America is a modern country. Anything that connects people to their roots and the origin of civilizations is a great obsession for me."

Amun added: “It is a great honor for me to participate in this project with Lamia and Flair magazine, and it is a great opportunity to shed light on everything I do and show it to the world and to Egypt, because I spent many years trying to show the world the truth and magnificence of Egypt, its civilization and its history. Egypt is truly a wonderful country with its hospitable people and great civilization.” My singing in Egypt is like a dream come true, and the location of the concert is wonderful among the Egyptian antiquities and this history that I have loved for a long time. 

Regarding the project of dealing with Amun through Flair magazine, Kamel explained: “The idea started with Flair magazine, which was recently selected in the list of the 50 best luxury media outlets in the world for the year 2023 from the Luxury Lifestyle Awards “ I saw Amun's intense love for Egypt, its civilization, its history, and its people, and we worked together to prepare for a huge artistic event in Cairo, where Amun sings amid antiquities, history, and civilization.”

Amun Starr being an American singer, artist, and influencer who uses her voice and fashion to express her admiration for the ancient Egyptian civilization through her songs and various videos, is a perfect fit for the cultural integration between both counties. 

Kamel explained during the interview: “After 17 years in the field of public relations, and in 2016 it was a fundamental shift for me and the cornerstone of launching theNarrative Summit” to serve as the first international conference for “Nation Branding” in Egypt, and we have launched 7 editions. of the summit (including two digital ones during Covid and in 2022 climate change conference COP27. Over the course of 7 years, we were honored by the presence and participation of a group of ministers, senior government officials and foreign guests who presented Egypt not only as a historical and civilized destination, but also as a cultural and civilized site, and for this year 2023 Narrative Summit is preparing to return once again to the ground in the Red sea to shed light on tourism development in Egypt. 

Regarding the challenges of working women face in the Middle East, Lamia Kamel indicated that there are challenges, of course, but there is a great movement in Egypt to involve and support more women, as the political leadership works to encourage and fully support women to obtain their full rights in all fields. Therefore, we now see a lot of women ministers and representation of women in the parliament and also in the creative fields, media, cinema, and also in the business world. Additionally, many women hold positions in banking and financial markets.

Kamel expressed her happiness with this dialogue and hosting through one of the most famous radio programs in America, and her meeting with singer Amun Starr through this program, which comes within the framework of the upcoming cooperation between Amun and Flair magazine to hold a huge art event in Egypt next month; June.
